Peter Goodwin hears the views of Hans Rosling of the Karonlinska Institute during the Annual International Conference on Global Health held in Washington DC. He also talks with the outgoing president of the Global Health Council (which hosts the conference), Nils Daulaire, with the London School of Hygiene’s Director, Andy Haines, and alumni, James Hospedales, Ariella Bock, Cherie Carter and Khizer Husain about the relevance of their education in their work in global health all over the world, and about the significance of the Gates Award to the London School’s Distance Learning programme and efforts to strengthen healthcare institutions.
