Community-Associated MRSA: Public Housing, Jail: Risks?

Researchers are now seeing growing numbers of MRSA infections in the community as well as in hospitals. One study presented at ICAAC was looking at possible risk factors for acquiring the bacterium, found that time spent in public housing or in jail were associated but antibiotic use and diabetes were not.
