Well, this has been one of the most promising telecasts I’ve heard so far. Being that I have del 13 myeloma. I have been really beating my head as to whether it was worth it to try any chemo at all. The side effects were enough to scare me off and the poor prognosis also supported that thought.

Please tell me who I can contact to further talk to me about getting a port or an arm pick without danger of infection and death. Such a procedure has not been recommended for patients with multiple myeloma. Please tell me whom to contact for validation. I am no longer on chemo (four years). For the past year and a half Vit. C infusions have kept me well. My veins are no good due to many other infusions while on chemo. Please help me
    Gratefully

This is very promising news for mm patients. At 38 years old I rec’d a tamden autologous transplant at the University of Pennsylvania. I am currently on 100 mg/day of Thyalidomide and managing the side effects. I feel tired all the time but other than that I feel great. Who knows…maybe this is the cure.
